Q: Where did you get your headshots done?
A: My sister is a professional portrait photographer based in Westminster, CO and she was so kind to take my photos. You can learn more about her business at Rachel Sorbet Portraiture. My photos were taken in January 2023.
Q: What industries have you worked in?
A: Since 2008, I’ve worked in a startup environment with organizations that had minimally established practices, policies, and procedures. I’m comfortable blazing new trails and creating new systems and processes. Industries I’ve worked in include: the military, higher education, e-commerce and brick-and-mortar retail stores, mental health clinics, banking, nonprofit, small business, and business process outsourcing (call centers and order fulfillment centers).
Q: Have you had a team to manage?
A: At UNLV, I had five employees I directly managed. Their roles were administrative assistant, social media/office assistant, volunteer coordinator, and assistant director of programs. Here, I also managed and directed the work of thousands of volunteers.
With PRSA, I led several boards including serving as president and chair. In these roles, I oversaw the performance of 5-16 board members and operations involving up to 2,500 members across the Western United States.
In another role for a client, I managed a sales team of three employees while I filled the sales manager position. My current team consists of one staff member – a marketing manager.
Q: Do you live in Denver?
A: I moved to Denver in October 2021 to be closer family. Westminster is now my home.
